Hi all, this is an off-cycle and off-topic post that you can feel free to ignore, as it isn’t directly related to autism and neurodiversity. This is a post about a super out there and divergent idea that has caught my attention, and for some reason I’m compelled to share it (shrug). So for what it’s worth ….
In trawling TikTok this morning for inspiring stuff, I ran across a woman (@ladyoftheforest444) discussing the potential for a specific process to happen on Earth, where love itself can spread quickly and grow exponentially:

She calls the world after this exponential growth in love The Age of Aquarius.
Although I tend to be allergic to prognostications and people who say they are “channeling” something, this felt different for some reason.
The thing is, this seems totally possible if there’s a mechanism of transmission of love from one person to another, and in general from one being or intelligence to another. But we already know that love is an infectious sensation, because it inevitably lights you up, and it’s always the preferred path for humans if it’s available. Love seems to point us to some kind of geodesic in consciousness space: a geodesic is simply the path of least action (a technical term in fundamental physics), which basically means least resistance. But here the resistance is felt by our consciousness itself, rather than being a physical barrier.
After the past few years, we’ve seen first-hand how quickly a contagion can spread, and grow. If a virus can do it, why can’t love?
Maybe the virus has inadvertently given us an incredible gift of understanding. We now know how efficiently we influence each other, how quickly signals can spread. And we, as a whole world, can collectively decide to lean into love.
my bs meters also tingle with these channellers, and damn i even struggled to finish that video. but i gotta say i've had similar thoughts for decades.
even when i was young i was amazed at how almost the whole world was able to sync in celebration of something like the new year. which i found quite remarkable and stupid at the same time; i thought all that interconnectedness could be put to "better use"...
well; decades past and it didn't get much better. the interconnectedness was made literal by this thing called internet and what the collective called forth was lots of porn, cat videos, fake stuff and viral memes.
but i do feel it in the air that that's not going to be for very long, that this dirty faucet of the mind is clearing itself out and the good stuff is finally pouring out and taking over.. by you, me or that lady doing our part.
so yes, that big change is to be expected - it will be sudden:

I could comment on so may things, but I am thankful you shared this, PJ. In the early days of the pandemic, my heart could not handle the collective fear, and at times, the collective hate. So I began to look at the opposite of these emotions, which are curiosity and love. This is where I have tried to lead from. I continue to hope, pray, and set intentions for the collective waves of love we are capable of giving and receiving as humans. Intention is the power source I like to use to tap into what this woman is channeling.
Amy, I've also felt compelled to turn towards curiosity, as a matter of survival frankly. I have boundless anxiety when I limit myself to ruminating on the hatred I'm observing in the world. And at the very same time, I also feel capable of hope. The choice is clear, and the geodesic of love is far preferable for me to the dissonance and decoherence of our world's unsustainable systems in tatters. These systems always had a time limit. That's the one guarantee in doing unsustainable things, right?
