I’d like to start sharing more of the content I’m consuming on autism, plant medicine, personal healing etc. Here’s a roundup of some podcasts I’ve been gleaning insights from this week.
Effects of cannabis on the brain and body
A review of medical literature on cannabis use by Andrew Huberman:
Dr. Huberman’s neuro-anatomical analysis of cannabis is sobering, with lots of cautions for young people especially. This made me aware of a bunch more mechanisms in the body that are affected by cannabis use, including the pre-frontal cortex (very relevant for ADHD). I have so many questions about all this, especially what this means for autistic children who otherwise are benefiting greatly from cannabinoid supplementation.
Putting cancer into remission with cannabis oil
This podcast “Cannabis Health Radio” has hundreds of episodes, each one a spotlight on a single person who has put a serious illness into remission using cannabis oil.
My mind is blown by every single episode. Most of the episodes are about serious cancers like pancreatic, leukemia, and breast cancer.
In this episode, a woman talks about putting leukemia into remission using 3000 mg / day of cannabinoids from cannabis oil.
Men’s work
Men’s work has become a big part of my life, and I’ve been listening to more and more content about it. I’m loving this interview with Connor Beaton, discussing his recent book “Men’s Work”:
Connor shares vulnerably and courageously about his personal journey through addiction and self-hatred, and how he found a way to channel his most uncomfortable feelings within the container of a men’s group.
I resonate with this so so much, and it’s made me more aware of how my relationship with the feminine has been shaped by my childhood experiences.
Please chime in!
This is a thread, so please share what’s interesting to you.
